Best Italian Restaurants in South Point Casino

This was our second visit to Bottiglia. I can honestly say that it was another perfect dinner. Staff is more attentive than any other place I've eaten before. You're greeted by a hostess and they are excellent at making you feel like it was a good choice. Plus it's just classy...The waitress arrives quickly, and get's the order right, while being able to hold a conversation. So many places now don't have a great atmosphere like this restaurant does with it's staff. They seem to want to be there! The food has been excellent each time. I always notice a lot of staff working in the kitchen and behind the scenes. They have hired people that work along side the waitress to quickly remove plates, deliver the food and make sure things are handled quickly. The restaurant itself is very classy and clean. Decorated extremely well. It's really a nice place with a great atmosphere. But you don't feel out of place if you're just looking to hang with family or friends and need to "over do it." Although you could...It is a higher end restaurant with great prices. I personally like it because after gambling or even coming in from home, I don't have to dress to the nines. Nice clothes are worn for sure, but nothing too fancy that makes me not want to go out. It's a good place for old dudes to enjoy. I would 100% recommend Bottiglia to any one who wants an excellent meal served by great staff at decent prices.

We enjoy all the restaurants at South Point Casino and Don Vito never disappoints. Best value you can find with the highest quality and service. The food was excellently prepared and tasted wonderful. Our head waiter Hector helped to make our dinner a fantastic experience, attentive and never pushy! We recommend Don Vito Restaurant without hesitation and will be back soon.

In short, great place and would definitely recommend and come back.... My wife & I (and some friends) are from NC and came to Vegas for a 5 day conference/mini vacation stayed at the South Point Casino. I found Bootleggers recommended on social media and checked it out. Flew in Thursday afternoon and had reservations at 5:30PM for 4 people. We arrived at 5:00, were seated (not many other tables occupied) and for the next 2 hours thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our waiter Alfredo was attentive and informative as to the vast amount of selections, recommendations and options. What I was most impressed about was how the staff worked as a team - silent and effective. Water filled, used plates removed, moved at a fast pace, everyone helped each other to get the job done. The food came out of the kitchen by another "team" and based upon the notes they had, they knew where every plate was supposed to go... no yelling out "who had the spaghetti.....?" Just a well trained team, a very pleasant experience, the way a quality restaurant should be run. By the time we were done and left, the entire restaurant was full and people were waiting for tables (on a Thursday night). Most of the patrons were locals and this is truly a gem of Vegas. In our opinion, Gaetano’s Ristorante is the premiere choice for celebrating special occasions! Although we come frequently, this evening we were there for a birthday and Gaetano’s did not disappoint! We had the most divine food, wines, appetizers and desserts! Almost instantly after being shown to our table, we were presented with bruschetta and rustic bread (definitely take-home-for-breakfast worthy!) Then the server proudly delineated the specials from each category, and he had us both salivating and agonizing over making the best choice! You could tell he knew the offerings and was enjoying telling us about them! We’re already in nirvana over the butternut squash ravioli, which is a fave of ours, and last night it was paired with the duck a l’orange. However, two of our party wanted the beef tips over pappardelle, but that entree choice didn’t feature the butternut squash ravioli side. No worries - they switched out our sides for us and we were like in rapture anticipating our meal! (Our other ‘contender’ was the salmon.) Oh, bring on the joy & happiness!!! Everything was fabulous, and topped off with tiramisu, gelato, and espressos! It was truly a grand and memorable dining experience, and the ‘transport’ vibe into the realm of a fine dining experience in Italy is thoroughly convincing!!! Gaetano’s is truly special, and we appreciate all the staff who work so hard to share their passion for fine dining cuisine with people who appreciate an elevated dining experience! Service was great out on the patio. Water and hot bread promptly served. Salad quickly made its way to the table, split as requested. Chicken limone times two…. Tender and flavorful. Requested extra capers and the waiter didn’t disappoint. Mashed potatoes nicely complimented the chicken. IMHO, I wish they cooked the broccoli a little more. It is beyond crunchy. Otherwise, great experience.
