The staff was respectful and welcoming and our waiter, Tyler, was very professional and helpful. Piatti Eilan’s ambiance is laid back and generally on the quieter side on weekday evenings.. it was a Monday night so a small crowd and peacefully quiet. Tyler was able to answer all our questions about the menu items and handled special requests perfectly. We were impressed by his professional demeanor and confidence. We enjoyed an appetizer of olives along with the packed pear salad. This was followed by entrees of lasagna and the sweet potato crusted trout with a vegetable modification of asparagus instead of pasta. We also ordered the bread service 1/2 way through the meal. Everything was prepared and presented perfectly. The food was delicious as usual. If we had to have a criticism it was that the food arrived very quickly in succession from initial drink to appetizer/salad to entree. It wasn’t busy but the pace could have been a little slower on food arrival to linger a bit. Overall, a great meal.More infoPiatti Restaurant - San Antonio, EilanPrice: Moderate• Italian• La Cantera•4.4
- CChadAustin •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe recently celebrated my wife's birthday at North Italia in San Antonio, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for our special evening. We started with the calamari appetizer, which was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It was a delightful start to our meal. For the main course, my wife chose the Tortelloni al Pomodoro, and she couldn't stop raving about it. The pasta was fresh, and the sauce was rich and flavorful. I opted for the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, and it was absolutely delicious. The perfect balance of spice and creaminess made every bite a pleasure. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure our evening was perfect. North Italia truly made my wife's birthday celebration special, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend!More infoNorth Italia - San AntonioPrice: Moderate• Italian• North San Antonio•4.6
