Dinner at Scuzzi’s Thanksgiving day was a wonderful experience. The staff was so attentive. Not just our personal waiter Jaylen, but ALL of the staff came by to be sure our dining experience lacked nothing. The food was excellent. Perfectly seasoned tender steak and all the delicious sides. Salads and Deserts were delicious, too. Drinks from the bar were perfect, especially the Tawny Port wines after dinner. Don’t hesitate to visit Scuzzi’s for lunch or dinner. You won’t be disappointed. Owner Mazi will be sure everything is perfect!

The food was exceptional, and the bartender demonstrated impressive skill in crafting two outstanding drinks. However, the service was slower than expected, and our waiter did not seem as attentive to our needs as we would have hoped. There were extended delays between courses, and we found ourselves without water midway through the meal. Additionally, my coffee arrived after we had already finished dessert, which was a bit of a disappointment. I noticed the waiter walked by us several times without acknowledging our attempts to get his attention. While the restaurant was not particularly busy, it appeared that some staff members were more engaged in conversation with one another rather than focusing on customer service. I made an effort to look for a manager to address these concerns, but unfortunately, I did not see anyone managing the floor. Ideally, a manager should be readily visible and accessible during peak dining times. Having worked in the food service industry for many years, I may be more attuned to these issues than the average customer. Nonetheless, I believe these are areas that management could enhance for an improved dining experience. I look forward to returning based on the quality of the food and drinks, but I hope to see some improvements in the service during my next visit.

Best meal I have ever had in San Antonio. My wife had the best linguine with white clam sauce she has ever had and this dish is her favorite. My and our guests’ meals and appetizers were all fantastic. Everything is made from scratch so Aldino’s can make your meal to your specifications without any hassle. Our server, Martha, was wonderful, friendly, and incredibly attentive! Every time I am in SA, I will make a return visit.
