Best Italian Restaurants in Newtown

This was not our first trip to Pepp & Dolores, and they never disappoint. As always, we started with the whipped ricotta, and it was as tasty as ever. We followed that with the fried artichokes and the gem salad, and both were delicious. We chose the Limone on our own, and our server made two other outstanding recommendations of the Funghi pasta and the Butternut Squash pasta. The amazing food and service always keeps us coming back!

We have a monthly dining group and this month we chose Alfio’s for our dinner. We all loved the food, atmosphere and outstanding service provided by Erika and Natalie! Erika was very knowledgeable about the menu and answered all our questions. We had a lovely meal and very enjoyable evening. Alfio’s is one of our all time favorites!

You can get great service anywhere, but great hospitality is hard to come by. 10/10 dining experience. We just eloped and we're supposed to be out of town but due to a hiccup we ended up delaying that. We decided to treat ourselves to a nice dinner. They really made it special by giving us an intimate table upstairs and a few other special touches. Our server was knowledgable (I asked a lot of questions) and friendly without being overbearing. Upon reading the reviews, I expected small portions but we left very full and wholly satisfied. It's important to keep in mind this isn't a regular dining experience but set up almost like you're building your own tasting menu. As a whole, it was a very special experience for us. The haricots verts and truffle gnocchi were my favorites!

Food was really good; flavorful and bold. I will dog be adding Al-Posto to our restaurant favorites in Cincinnati.
