- CCharlesAtlanta Metro •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoJust another Saturday night during Christmas. It was empty, well it had a hand full of people in the dining area. But the bar was packed. The food was delicious a few things were different; I have a Caribbean pallet. The drinks were delicious and on point. They had James Hennessy along with a full course of Hennessy. The atmosphere was metropolitan sexy in a classy vibe way. We had a great time. It’s near the Fox theater so you can stop in before or after a show. The server was very attentive. I would like to qualify the wait staff when it was a little more customers. But it was a delightful experience.More infoEcco MidtownPrice: Expensive• European• Midtown•4.6

- DDavidAtlanta Metro •26 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024Wow! We have been occasional diners with PdP since they were a self-serve hole-in-the-wall back in the 90s. We followed them across the way to Peachtree Walk in a sweet small bungalow until that location succumbed to the onslaught of so called redevelopment progress. Thankfully, they have staked a claim to one of the very few former residences left on West Peachtree and now offer a quiet setting that's beautifully decorated and updated for the next stage of life. The decor finally matches their wonderful food, with some items thankfully retained from their more humble beginnings (see the Tortelli di Mele!) We dined downstairs where it was quiet even though the restaurant was full. We could have a table conversation in normal voices and that's much more important than most restaurants seem to realize. Cocktails were excellent, Caesar salad was perfectly prepared and proportioned, the pastas were as good as ever, and we saved room for their wonderful tiramisu. Parking is an issue as it is everywhere in Midtown. A valet is provided but if it's a nice evening, they do comp nearby parking at a hotel. Probably an AJC two star (on a four star scale) but I rate it five stars for the combo of value, ambience, good food, and attentive service. Already looking forward to our next visit!More infoPasta da PulcinellaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Midtown•4.7
