Best Italian Restaurants in Lower Garden District

We had an excellent waiter Sean who made the experience very enjoyable. The ambiance of this deceptively large restaurant is delightful. The food was very good. We had the soups of the day as well as fish and chicken. The red velvet cake was the perfect finish - light yet rewarding. Booze prices were relatively reasonable. Would go again.

As usual, we had a very good experience. We had one of our two preferred servers (Rivers and Sarah) take care of us. Rivers was accommodating and attentive; Sarah stopped by to say hello. The Sardinian red was a very good match for the new funghi pizza. We asked Rivers about the availability of fresh thyme for the pizza and he brought some out. It turned a very good pie into an excellent one. The molten chocolate tort was outstanding.

My husband and I made a reservation here for Valentine’s Day. It was our first time in the city and to be honest we didn’t really know what to expect. The staff were wonderful! They were all so kind and worked together as a team pretty seamlessly. I don’t feel like we had to wait around for anything. The food came out quickly and tasted amazing. I got the pumpkin ravioli and my husband got the fillet with asparagus. We loved both dishes so much and left feeling satisfied. Safe to say if we come back to the city we’ll be back here for sure!

Valentine Day was a busy day, but ladies, really? We were happy to see one table leave. The beets were awesome as was the linguine and more. The satsuma sorbet was delicious. Michael, our waiter, was excellent. We love the ambiance and enjoy dining here.

Pizza, drinks, and service was great. Best pizza this side on Rome.
