Best Italian Restaurants in La Cantera

This is a great restaurant, and we always thoroughly enjoy it. During this experience, they were out of a lot of items, and they also removed from the menu their Parmesan crusted cod. We really enjoyed the Parmesan Crystal card and hope they bring it back. It was a very popular item That we look forward to getting.

Always a consistent high quality experience at Aldo’s. Starting with a warm and friendly greeting, presentation of delicious menu selections, add to that excellent waiters (Mario this time), and always wrap up with spumoni. The perfect evening from the rated best Italian Restaurant in San Antonio.

Great food, great service and beautifully decorated for the holidays. Even had live saxophonist playing great songs on the porch with heaters. Was an amazing Christmas Eve dinner with the family!

North Italia at The Rim made our Christmas Eve truly special! Their General Manager, Eric, greeted us warmly, surprising me as a fellow Eagles fan (wearing a Saquon Barkley jersey my son gave me) and treated us to a complimentary appetizer. To our delight, it was the “CACIO E PEPE ARANCINI” (deep-fried risotto balls), which my husband and I had been eyeing—absolutely delicious! My husband stayed loyal to his favorite, the Tuscan Half Chicken, while I indulged in their perfectly crafted Margherita pizza pie. Paired with a bottle of Montepulciano D’Abruzzo Umani Ronchi “Podere”, the meal was a holiday treat. The service was impeccable, and the festive ambiance elevated the experience. Thank you, North Italia, for the spectacular food and service. And to Eric: “Go Birds!”

We love Piatti.. both locations but this evening we chose Eilian. We were able to be seated in the comfortable sofa/upholstered chair section which was very nice. Our server was really pleasant and attentive throughout the meal and allowed us to move at our pace through a moment with some hot tea followed by their butternut squash soup and a mista salad. We enjoyed their amazing bread and oil/basalmic mix (only ate 1/2 to make sure we could bring the rest home). We settled on the roasted salmon for her, getting asparagus instead of the normal side and I had the flatiron steak and truffled potatoes. Everything from the appetizers to the meal was prepared perfectly and served at just the right time. Great meal, great ambiance (we were around 5:30pm on a Friday night so the crowd wasn’t there yet).
