Two of us had the classic bruschetta to start. Delicious so simple and yet packed with flavour. I had a vegetarian pasta with seasonal veg in a creamy sauce! Sublime! Another had the classic lasagna and said how delicious and just melted in the mouth. Beef steak medallions in a peppercorn sauce with fries my mother loved! The fries are crunchy and yet fluffy! For dessert I had the affogato lovely little pudding and my mother had the passionfruit panna cotta. Thoroughly enjoyed. The food was delicious, wine good and the lady that waited on our table was so helpful. Best of all the pub was lovely and warm. So many are not nowadays as they try to save money.
