- MMarionVIPWashington, D.C. Area •108 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe management of Olio a Piu gave us a complementary meal after a good but less than stellar review for a dinner we had there during Restaurant Week. We took them up on the offer and had lunch there on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was busy (a surprise to us for a downtown DC location) and the vibe was happy. We both had the delicious Farfalla Rossa cocktail. We had the Burrata Mediterraneo and Vitello Tonnato appetizers, Fusilli Cinghiale e Funghi pasta and Bronzino del Marinaio for entrees, and Tiramisu and pear and chocolate desserts. The food was excellent! Our server, Ximena, was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable, as was the rest of the staff. Thank you, Hospitality Team of Olio e Piu, for offering us this second chance at your restaurant. It tells us that you care about your patrons and the food and hospitality you provide. That's much appreciated these days.More infoOlio e Più - DCPrice: Expensive• Italian• Washington•4.3
- NNatVirginia •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had an amazing evening. The food was amazing. Thank you to Fernando, who made the night unforgettable. His attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant. He anticipated our needs, made thoughtful recommendations, and added a personal touch that elevated the entire evening. It’s rare to find such genuine service these days, and Fernando truly made us feel at home. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and an even better experience.More infoFilomena RistorantePrice: Expensive• Italian• Georgetown•4.8
- PParrisVirginia •11 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoWe showed up to celebrate my wife’s birthday and the place was empty at front desk for a bit. When someone showed up, the young woman asked where our reservation was made. I told her it was via OpenTable and was for dining. She seemed flustered and asked three more times after which I handed her my phone and the app to see if that made it easier for her. She expressed some frustration at something, not sure what, but finally proceeded to guide us to a table. The restaurant was only busy near the bar so I’m not sure why the host/hostess area was vacant for so long but it was mid-week so it’s plausible to have reduced staff at the time. We were served and waited on by a wonderful bartender who was tasked with cover the entire restaurant and the bar. That bothered us a little bit that she had to cover so much ground, when there were two people at the hostess station, in a non-rush period, that could’ve easily helped her out, as the bar was full when we came in. Nonetheless, our bartender/waitress was PHENOMENAL!!! Great service, vibes, and always professional. If we were to come back, we’d be glad to just be served/waited on by her. On to the food: - Lobster Flatbread - 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 that thing was amazing. I don’t usually do flatbreads, but was encouraged by my wife to switch it up. Every bite was amazing, right along with the garden salad on the side. - Bourbon Refresh - I’ve never had quite a drink with made with bourbon before. Truly refreshing and almost teleported me to spring time on the patio enjoying the breeze without a care in the world. - ultimate grilled cheese - my wife surprised at how much she enjoyed it. The person who brought it from the kitchen mistakenly called it a BLT, which threw both of us off. Nonetheless, she enjoyed every bite. - shareable sliders - too notch, tender, flavorful, would definitely recommend. We may patron the establishment again during a different time slot and day of the week, especially to see the gaming options.More infoPinstripes - GeorgetownPrice: Moderate• American• Georgetown•4.1

The pizza dough wasnt cooked all the way but the toppings were yummy. The pasta dish with mushrooms was just ok. I guess I expected more since it is a high end restaurantMore infoFlavioPrice: Expensive• Italian• Georgetown•4.5
