- DDarlenevipVancouver / British Columbia •15 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis restaurant is located on the edge of Yaletown and easy to find. We walked from the Fairmont Waterfront (20 mins) and found it with ease. We were attending the Bruce Springsteen concert, which was on a Friday night, so it was good we had a reservation. I'm not too sure about the parking as we walked or would have taken an Uber. This place was bumpin (Friday night and a concert) and had a great atmosphere! We checked in and were called once our table was ready. We were seated by the friendly hostess, close to the pizza oven, which was very cool and watched them prepare and toss the pizza dough. Our server was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The menu has a variety of starters, mains and shareables. We started with a Ceasars salad (the dressing was fantastic) you could taste the freshness with a hint of anchovies. We ordered the 8oz filet with their amazing chimichurri and sided it with an order of their lobster/ crab ravioli (which was spectacular) and split everything. It was the perfect portion and not too heavy. We were happy with our restaurant choice and the food items we order. I would definitely love to come back and try more of their menu items and recommend this experience at Per Se Social Corner on Homer St, in Vancouver. - MMargaretvipSeattle / Eastern Washington •10 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 16, 2024We had family from out of town and they'd never been to the Leader Block so we thought it would be a great place to take them for dinner. I did not know it was under new ownership but soon learned Roberto was the new owner. He was wonderful and ultra-entertaining. He has in-depth knowledge of the wines on the wine list and did not steer us wrong. I was the only one who had white wine and Roberto recommended a glass of Anthilia. It was crisp, and delicious and went nicely with the scallops and wild mushroom risotto I ordered. My dinner was great and was a perfect portion size for me. The rest of the gang had red wine. I don't know what they ordered just that they loved it, and one person bought an extra bottle to take home. Two of the people in our group had the Oso Bucco and could not stop raving about it. Another had the cioppino and he said it was outstanding. My husband had the pork loin, and he said it was flavorful but dry. My brother had the Spaghetti Alla Bolognese. He said it was good. All in all, we had a very fun evening and look forward to going back.More infoLeader Block Trattoria & BarPrice: Expensive• Italian• Ferndale•4.6

- SStanSeattle / Eastern Washington •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 8, 2024My wife and I went for a date night to try a new place. We try a new one each month and this month was Sliced. I had the Pastrami sandwich and my wife had the Bison burger. Both were well prepared and cooked to perfection. As we eat with our eyes first, I noticed the meals were plated neatly on slabs instead of plates which was a cool look. The service staff was very helpful, cheery and polite. Overall this was a great dining experience for us and we will be back again.More infoSlicedPrice: Moderate• American• Bellingham•4.5
