Best Indian Restaurants in Torquay

Brij and the team was amazing! Made our 21st anniversary and took special care of my son who was allergic to certain nuts.

Lentils is the best Indian food we’ve ever had (and we’ve had it a lot) We went for lunch one Sunday and were blown away so we went again for date night. It’s beautiful inside too and the service is amazing.

Honestly, the food here is worth travelling for, and I mean that. We are happy to make the 20 minute drive from a nearby coastal town to eat in or get takeaway the food is that good. A lot of thought has been gone into making and preparing each dish, which gives each one an individual character all of its own. The flavours are immersive and vibrant, with the perfect combination of spices to compliment the base component of each dish, be that meat, seafood or vegetable. The menu is accompanied by an interesting drinks list (which as the name suggests features whisky prominently) includes some interesting wine choices at reasonable prices. Combine all this with a venue accomodating several different spaces, and attentive and welcoming staff, and you have a restaurant with all the things to rival many of Melbourne's best credentialed Indian establishments. Believe me, this place is certainly worth the trip, if only it wasn’t just that bit closer.

The best restaurant to go in whole Torquay, the food was amazing especially the lamb cutlets. Would recommend everyone who’s visiting Torquay to must visit Malta Indian Restaurant.
