Best Indian Restaurants in Regent's Park

We were delighted on our latest return to Tamarind Kitchen. Our tasty lamb-based main dishes were both beautifully cooked, marvellously spiced in contrasting ways, and in generous portions. Accompaniments, in particular the garlic naan and the spinach, were also full of flavour.

Great food! Every dish hit the mark! The Fish curry and tandoori octopus were exquisite. The only grouse was that we were rushed at the end to wrap up which meant we couldn’t really enjoy the desserts.

The food was outstanding. The Samudri thali, my personal favorite, was a highlight, while the Peshawari kulcha was absolutely delicious and the Murg Makhni was quite good. However, the service could use some improvement and fine-tuning.

I was utterly overjoyed when my best friend spouted that our times dining at Drummond Villa were the most enjoyable since our schooldays: we don’t r/v all that often, and the restaurant has become our go-to. As ever: the food was delicious, service utterly faultless. Someone once said “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”; well guess what: it ain’t broke!
