We’ve been celebrating birthdays at Smith’s for the past four years, and every time they deliver an amazing experience! This year was extra special as we celebrated a birthday and a proposal, and the team went above and beyond to make it unforgettable. The table was beautiful, and they even brought out a cake with a candle, which added a lovely personal touch. The food was, as always, excellent—delicious, beautifully presented, and fresh. A special thank you to Alfredo, who truly made our lunch even more memorable. He was professional, kind, and welcoming, with a warm smile that made us feel right at home. His attention to detail and dedication to making our experience perfect is so appreciated. Smith’s has earned every one of these 5 stars—highly recommend for any special occasion!

Pre rugby lunch for 6. Place was predictably heaving with both diners and drinkers. Service was excellent, staff cheerful and attentive and no sign of how busy they were. We didn’t have to sit around waiting for anything at all. Food as always was excellent, fabulous flavours and generous portions. £50 a head for starter, main, lots of sides, two rounds of drinks and including the service charge. I think it’s great value for the quality of food, great service and within a short stroll to the stadium.

Waitress was super helpful and friendly but the whole experience felt a bit cramped - the tables next to us were really close and there wasn’t much room for all the dishes they had brought out. The restaurant also smelt strongly of cigarette smoke.

Great place with excellent food and fantastic service.

Walked into an empty restaurant with no staff on hand to receive us. Went to the bar to advise we had a table reserved to be told ok take a seat. Sat there for 5/10 minutes before we went back to bar to order drinks. Then told sorry can only serve water as waiting for bar tender to arrive. Eventually the drinks order came but they didn’t have any Sauvignon blanc as requested and forgot one of the cokes. After this was resolved the food service was much better than our initial experience. Food was wonderful. Shame about the beginning.
