- AAnneDenver / Colorado •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a delicious dinner. Since we had 5 of us, we were able to sample quite a few dishes. Our favorites were the beet salad, the rockfish tom kha, the short ribs and a papparadelle mushroom dish. For dessert, the chocolate hazelnut pie and the carrot cake were amazing. Our server was great and the dishes were served with just the right amount of time between the courses. The only negative was that we were somewhat close to the front door and since it was a cold night, every time the door opened, we felt a cold draft (we kept our coats on). A vestibule would really help.More infoRoot DownPrice: Expensive• American• Highlands•4.8
- JJacobDenver / Colorado •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoNate was a phenomenal server, especially for Valentine's Day. We were running a bit late due to the weather and getting parking but that wasn't an issue. The salmon was seasoned to perfection, the quinoa's texture couldn't have been better, the zuccini, squash and tomatoes were flavorful, and the sauce was divine. Raspberry vodka was definitely an attention-catcher that led to a carafe of it, which we'll be back for another and to try more flavors. The grapefruit was also enjoyable, just not as tantalizing, but there's certainly something for everyone.More infoRed Square Euro BistroPrice: Moderate• European• Downtown / LoDo•4.8
- JJohnDenver / Colorado •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was my first time at Earls Kitchen + Bar. I definitely will be back. My girlfriend and I went for Valentine's Day and it was an exceptional experience. Everything about it was wonderful - the service, the food, the ambience... All great. As a small example, I had ordered a White Peach Whiskey Sour and was brought a regular whiskey sour. Our server knew the wrong drink had been made but brought it to me anyway, explaining I'll have my correct drink coming as well. Both drinks were awesome, by the way! At 55 years old I may have been one of the oldest, if not THE oldest, person in there that evening while I was there but I never felt out of place. Anyway, if you haven't been to Earls Kitchen you need to make plans to visit. Outstanding!More infoEarls Kitchen + Bar - Downtown DenverPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / LoDo•4.5

It was a specialty 4 course Valentine’s Day menu, by my girlfriend and I were very pleased with the choices and look forward to taking another night out at Linger to try the rest of the menu.More infoLingerPrice: Expensive• Global, International• Highlands•4.7
- SSteveVIPDenver / Colorado •40 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe enjoy Izakaya Den and understand that it has complex menu choices, which we consider a feature (not a bug). However, our waiter managed to make the menu more confusing rather than easier to navigate. We couldn't tell whether he was trying to "sell" us on items, provide information, or just hear himself talk! He got very far afield on the preparation of Tuna Collar and then discovered that he was describing a totally different dish. He also laid-on a thick layer of jargon, i.e "flavor profiles", etc. instead of speaking with clarity. The experience at Izakaya Den is already very good and didn't need to be embellished with BS. Fortunately, since one in our party has serious allium (onion/garlic) and gluten sensitivities, the order was placed correctly. We'll definitely will return again, and just hope we don't get the same waiter! Yeesh!More infoIzakaya DenPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Platt Park•4.8
