Great experience for a New Years Day celebration have brunch and enjoy acoustic guitar performer. We had their expression martini and blood Mary; both were yummy. We had reservations but wait was longer than usual so we ended up seated at the bar which was fine too. They were slammed busy but still enjoyed the good and service. I have been here a couple of other times and always enjoyed it. I look toward to return but next time not on a holiday.

Our server Luis made a casual Saturday meal into a special occasion. With his knowledge of the kitchen operation, he was able to pace the courses perfectly without our even asking him. Key feature of his great service (and of all high level servers): he listened to us and delivered accordingly. Oh, and the pizza is very tasty too!

Had to wait a long time for the table even with a reservation due to half the restaurant being held for a holiday party. But the food and service was good once we were finally seated.

The City Tap House - Penn Quarter was PACKED so I'm glad we were able to get reservations. The food was excellent, but conversation at the dinner table was difficult because it was very noisy. We had a few issues with ordering via the QR code. When I ordered my food, the site returned an error. When I resubmitted my order, I had two orders. I was able to flag down someone who had to go to the kitchen to cancel my duplicate order. Then I had a third food order waiting to be submitted, so I had to flag someone down again to delete it from my order. The online system could use some improvements, but overall it was a good experience. The food and drinks came out quickly and I found I actually liked ordering and paying from my phone. The link to Apple Pay made it a SNAP! That being said, I received a phishing email overnight that my Apple Pay had been suspended. I deleted that, but it makes me wonder about the security of the online system.

Great food and great service as always! Thank you for your wonderful and attentive staff! You are always a best choice in the area for our annual holiday breakfast. I enjoy the pleasant staff and wonderful food options. Thank you for being the best in the area!
