The Parakeet is a wonderful local, the room is buzzy and cool, the food excellent and staff great. This time, I had a guest with a number of food intolerances and our waiter and the chef annotated what would work and what can be altered. This resulted in a great meal for a difficult eater so thanks! We enjoyed the wine by the glass too as there was a wide range available. A great experience.

The Sunday menu was solid, with the highlights being the scotch egg, as well as celeriac. The vibe is nice, lively without being too noisy. A place where you can actually enjoy the food and chat.
