Best French Restaurants in Poway / Rancho Bernardo

Friend and I visited for the Thanksgiving prix fixe dinner. It was absolutely fantastic. We ordered the lamb shank, beef filet, and added the sweet potatoes. Our onion soup and blackened shrimp appetizer choices were delicious. The pumpkin cake and apple pastry desserts were so good. The overall standout was definitely the lamb shank. Unbelievably delicious. The wine list is incredible and we complemented dinner with a lovely Napa Cabernet. The service was excellent and absolutely what you would expect. Bill, was a delight and even took a few photos of us for my visiting friend. Thank you for a wonderful Thanksgiving!

My sister and I decided to spend our Thanksgiving lunch at Le Coq in La Jolla, and it was an absolutely incredible experience. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth and a sophisticated yet cozy ambiance that set the tone for our holiday meal. Our waiter, Chris, went above and beyond to make our visit exceptional. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made fantastic recommendations that elevated our dining experience. His professionalism and genuine friendliness added a personal touch that made our Thanksgiving lunch feel truly special. The food was exquisite, with every dish showcasing the perfect balance of flavor, creativity, and presentation. Each bite felt like a celebration, and it was clear that great care and passion went into crafting the menu. Le Coq is a gem in La Jolla, and it made our holiday memorable in the best way possible. The food was great. Loved the scallop tartare and the salmon. Dessert awesome, The pumpkin tart had the right amount of sweetness and the edible pea flowers were the perfect edible decor for the tartini. Turkey, cranberry sause thanksgiving meal was so yummy . Everything we ordered was very delicious and the ambience so relaxing.Our server went above and beyond and encouraged us to have a stroll around the resort after a leisurely lunch. Kids loved watching the horses inside the stable. We enjoyed the walk after the delicious food.

This is little gem in downtown Escondido I had the scallops which were delicious. My husband had the skirt steak which was also very good. The portions are not large but it was enough. The pistachio gelato-very rich and creamy We will be back!

Do they need another 5 star review? Or another 5 star review from me? It's fabulous as usual. We are fortunate to have this in Carlsbad. Consistent quality, impeccable service. Keep it up!
