- CCherylVIPCalgary / Southern Alberta •44 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWonderful experience this evening! We started with cocktails - all with interesting names and interesting flavours. The newspaper garnish was so fun! We enjoyed the oysters - so fresh and flavourful - and the whipped brie to start. We ordered mussels, lobster risotto, short rib and chicken supreme as our mains. All very different, but delicious! Seasoned and cooked to perfection. We finished with dessert and the bartender indulged me with a blueberry tea. We will be back and would not hesitate to recommend to our friends. Thank you for a wonderful experience.More infoFinePrintPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Canadian• Calgary•4.6
- LLubnaAmsterdam •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 20, 2024Where do I even start! My husband and I came here for the first time to celebrate our three-year anniversary, and I cannot believe we hadn’t come here sooner. The ambiance was perfect—warm lighting and cosy decor set the stage for a lovely evening! We were greeted by Stu, who is super friendly (and very funny) and he made us feel right at home! We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was absolutely lovely and took the time to chat with us and gave us recommendations for other restaurants as well, as we are new to Calgary. They offer a wide variety of dishes, but we opted for their specials. I ordered the seafood pasta, while my husband chose the wagyu steak. Both dishes were beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. To finish off the evening, we indulged in dessert. The Nutella cheesecake was heavenly—light and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. Overall, our experience at Carino was exceptional. We left feeling happy, full, and excited to return. If you're looking for a place that combines great food with a lovely atmosphere, Carino is definitely the place for you!More infoCarinoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Mission•4.9

We LOVED the prawn katsu sando and recommended it to the table beside us and they loved it too! Hanger steak tartare was delicious as well. Plenty to choose from and nice to be able to order a few plates at a time to share and to space out the meal. Thank you and we’ll be back!More infoBar ChouettePrice: Expensive• French• Beltline•4.6
