Spectacular meal - ambiance was just fabulous. Went for pre-theatre meal; service was prompt and courteous. Will definitely come again!

My husband and I visited Clos Maggiore yesterday for a late celebration of our 22nd anniversary, and it was nothing short of perfection! This was our second time dining at this gem of a restaurant, and once again, it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was enchanting. The intimate, romantic setting, especially under the stunning conservatory with twinkling lights, made the evening feel so special. The service was impeccable—attentive, warm, and professional without ever being intrusive. And the food? Absolutely divine. Every dish was a work of art, from presentation to taste. Each bite was a testament to the chef’s skill, with bold flavors and perfectly balanced textures. The attention to detail was remarkable, and it truly made the evening unforgettable. The menu had some French classics as well as other Bistro style favourites Loads of cheese on the French Onion soup and the Brie in filo pastry was sublime A very good cassoulet the duck fell apart and loads of Sausage and lardons A decent drinks selection and at reasonable London prices Our waitress was friendly and attentive We went pre-theatre on a Friday and it had a great bistro atmosphere We would visit again

First time dining in at Balthazar, I say the place has a warm ambience very welcoming. Food was delicious no question I say will be paying another visit for dinner again soon. Fine Hospitality service 10/10.
