- JJoyGloucestershire/Wiltshire •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI had a lovely afternoon tea at L'Escargot with a group of girl friends. It was raining heavily and they were able to accommodate us half an hour early, and we were made very welcome. The choice of teas was good, and we all enjoyed the ones we chose. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were also excellent, as was the glass of champagne that we decided to included. All in all, a lovely afternoon tea experience.More infoL'EscargotPrice: Expensive• French• Soho•4.6

We went for al-a-carte as opposed to tasting but I would love to go back for the tasting menu next time as tables beside us looked fantastic as well. The food was amazing - every sauce, spice, combination and texture were very well put together. The walnut and mushroom ketchup with tempura mushrooms and the scallops were highlights. Service was also great, accommodated us slightly earlier and gave us a little birthday treat at the end which was a lovely touch. Really nice vibe overall, very much in keeping with the Charlotte st vibe and a standout amongst the quality of its neighbours.More infoThe NinthPrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Fitzrovia•4.7
- KKarenLondon •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoCould not fault the service, the setting, or the food. Husband said it was the best venison he had ever had. Huge wine list - knowledgeable sommelier. A lot of French wine. Obviously not a cheap eat at all - 3course meal for 2 with bottle of wine, and 2glasses English sparkling came to £400.More infoThe NoMad LondonPrice: Expensive• British• Covent Garden•4.3
- JJulieLondon •9 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoLovely three course lunch with friends. Enjoyed the mozzarella starter, turkey and Christmas pudding from the Nutcracker menu. Very reasonable price. Attentive service but not over the top. This is the second time I’ve been here in a month and it is now one of my favourite places.More infoBalthazar London
