Best French Restaurants in Linda Vista

The food is always good, especially if you can hit happy hour. Service is impeccable. The noise level is sometimes a little high. Don’t sit in the very back in front of the back room or you get a lot of foot traffic as that’s where the kitchen and restrooms are.

This is a great little neighborhood gem. French food but with a California twist. Not overly heavy with sauces or hard to approach, just excellent food in a great little spot in North Park East. The service was also excellent, with a number of attentive and friendly staff. We loved the onion tart, homemade past, and steak dishes, but honestly all of the menu items were outstanding. If I had to skip one I would say the chicken, which had kind of a greasy and hard to eat pork casing it (although the mustard salad and sauce were awesome). Great overall dining experience and kudos to these guys for creating a unique but approachable menu in the French style.

Food was great! Portion sizes were surprisingly generous. Adam, our server was polite and attentive. Will be back again!

Great Thanksgiving 3 course meal! Exactly what we wanted.

Friend and I visited for the Thanksgiving prix fixe dinner. It was absolutely fantastic. We ordered the lamb shank, beef filet, and added the sweet potatoes. Our onion soup and blackened shrimp appetizer choices were delicious. The pumpkin cake and apple pastry desserts were so good. The overall standout was definitely the lamb shank. Unbelievably delicious. The wine list is incredible and we complemented dinner with a lovely Napa Cabernet. The service was excellent and absolutely what you would expect. Bill, was a delight and even took a few photos of us for my visiting friend. Thank you for a wonderful Thanksgiving!
