- JJeffSan Diego •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis was my first time at Mr A’s and giving full accolades. The service was as good as it gets. Rory is a veteran server with an extensive knowledge of wine, food and decorum. The whole staff did a wonder job as well. Liked the signature Old Fashion and the wine that Rory recommended. We had oysters, caviar and the lobster fritters to start. The baguette was warm and a great complement to the starters. The entrees were all loved. I had the rack of lamb that was perfectly cooked medium rare with an amazing white bean provencal. There were many other things we would have ordered. For your special occasion (this was my daughter’s birthday), this is the place! Bravo Mr A’sMore infoMister A'sPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Downtown•4.8
- RRobVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •96 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoBest French onion soup in California, just fantastic. Excellent roast duck breast in huckleberry sauce with Swiss chard gratin, tremendous. Seafood cannelloni overpowered by tarragon, the herb not mentioned in the menu description — in a sign of truly great service, when my wife could not eat it the restaurant offered an alternative and did not charge for the dish. Truly superb Grand Marnier soufflé for dessert. Good wine list w mix of French and California wines. This is a great restaurant! More infoEt Voilà! - AAnneSan Diego •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 26, 2024Really nice looking restaurant, extremely nice and attentive staff. The food was delicious, only negative was we were disappointed with the clam chowder, it tasted like a delicious potato soup, but barely any clam flavor or pieces of clam. The ribeye steak was amazing and tiramisu was delicious. We will definitely be back, just not for the clam chowder.More infoFarmer's Bottega RestaurantPrice: Moderate• American• Mission Hills•4.7
