The food is creative and put together in a way where the exotic flavors come together to create heaven in your mouth. We cannot say enough about how truly excellent the cuisine is. Whether it’s the lamb, the ahi, the brioche topped with all kinds of splendors…..it never disappoints. Additionally, James and Martin add to our wonderful experiences. James is so knowledgeable about wine pairings and Martin always makes sure we have the best culinary experience. Hats off to Chef Chris. He is a master.More infoMiro KaimukiPrice: Very Expensive• French / Japanese• Honolulu•4.7
- Mmary courtheynNew Orleans / Louisiana •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoOverall, we had a good experience dining at Michel's. Enjoyed the lavash and the salmon hors'dourve before our bisque. The butter was different with red specs, perhaps some type of pepper, but had not much flavor. The water service was excellent. The tropical island salad my son had looked delicious. My escargots were very good but tasted a little different from others I've had. My son wasn't impressed with his salmon which he shared with his wife who enjoyed it very much. My other son really enjoyed the lamb chops. Our chocolate soufflé was traditional French which I enjoyed but others were't overly impressed with it. The waiter brought my daughter in law a special birthday dessert which was to die for. Whipped cream, lemon curd and white chocolate with a lady finger and a strawberry and a raspberry. The service was excellent and the ladies room was all pink and very French and cute with fresh orchids, towels for drying hands and an impressionist painting in a separate area for freshening-up etc. Mary Courtheyn Boise, Idaho Dec. 18, 2024More infoMichel's at the Colony SurfPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French• Waikiki•4.6
- JjuneVIPHawaii •46 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOMG! What a gastronomic delight! Everything in the prefixe menu was excellent and beautifully presented. We also received the cutest mini brioche with two types of butter in shape of puzzle pieces. So good! Wagyu beef was so tastefully done! They even gave us a parting gift which was a tube if Valrhona chocolate either hazelnuts. Serve was excellent! Definitely going back!More infoMugenPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French• Waikiki•4.9
- JjuneVIPHawaii •46 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 11, 2024Our initial server was not very attentive. We asked for bread to eat with the prosciutto we ordered but had to ask again after some time passed. When our main course came, two of us got our entrees but the third person had to wait at least five minutes before her entree came out. The other server who brought our appetizers was much more attentive and very good. Kimiko, the hostess was also very good.More infoBernini HonoluluPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Honolulu•4.8
