- NNeilyaLos Angeles •1 review4.0Dined todayI recently visited L’appart and while the food and atmosphere were excellent, my experience was unfortunately overshadowed by the rude and unprofessional behavior of our waitress. The dishes we ordered were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. However, the service left much to be desired. The waitress was curt, dismissive, and seemed irritated whenever we asked for assistance. It felt as though we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. While I would love to return for the food and atmosphere, the poor service makes me hesitate. A little more courtesy and professionalism from the staff would go a long way in elevating the overall experience. I hope the management takes note, as this restaurant has so much potential. I visited this restaurant 3 times before and I never had problems with the attitude but this time after their renovation, they hired a new staff and this time I didn’t feel welcomed.More infoL’APPARTPrice: Moderate• Contemporary French• Downtown•4.6
- MMiriamVIPLos Angeles •89 reviews5.0Dined todayThis is food that is filled with passion and heart. Every little detail is thought about and made better. For example, we ordered oysters which were from Prince Edward Island that night. Absolutely sweet and delectable. But Chef Charles elevated the cocktail sauce to one of the best versions I have ever had. Every bite that night made me swoon. Inventive, creative using Japanese flavors and French techniques to give us an amazing dining experience. In addition, the service staff is warm and delightful and the restaurant is comfy and homey. I love Charles Namba's cooking at Tsubaki but Camelia is a dream come true for him and for us who get to eat his inspired foodMore infoCameliaPrice: Very Expensive• French / Japanese• Arts District•4.5
- ZZaraVIPLos Angeles •54 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoPerch LA has been around for a long time. This was the first time we had dinner there. I didn’t know what to expect. It was outstanding. Ambience : beautiful views of downtown LA. We sat outside , which I I recommend. They have heaters, but you should still wear warm clothes to be comfortable . The inside is dark, old and looks rundown. The inside needs upgrading. We had Chilean Seabass , which was outstanding. We don’t like risotto.(I think that’s what it comes with) so we substituted it with mixed vegetables. Amazing. We also had a great lettuce salad, and truffle cheese fries. Yum Yum. This was plenty of food for two people to share. And, delicious ice cream with coffee. Great service. Thank you .More infoPerch LAPrice: Expensive• French American• Downtown•4.6
