Bon Ami is one of my favorite restaurants normally, but this time the mussels were very sub-par. The size of the mussel meat was tiny, tough, and overcooked. The sauce was much too salty and lacked the sweet/savory balance the chef normally strikes. Not sure if this was just an off night, but they were the worst example of mussels I've ever eaten there.

Props to the chefs! Food was outstanding, nothing over the top or eccentric, just high quality like you would expect to find in actual France! I did think the silverware and glassware could be upgraded, or at least all match. But the quality of the food will have us back for sure!
