- FFrancoiseVIPNew York City •47 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe have dined here several times but this was really an outstanding experience. Everything was delicious, served professionally and the noise level was comfortable. I had the special arugula corn and avocado salad, followed by the duck breast with figs. I loved the large slices instead of the usual many thin slices. It was tender and juicy. The figs were marinated and out of this world. I shared the warm bread pudding with my husband. Delicious. The only negative was the espresso. Watery and tasteless. Our friends loved their meal as well. We enjoyed the whole thing so much we stayed 3 hours!More infoThe Milling RoomPrice: Expensive• French American• Upper West Side•4.4

The food and drinks were amazing and the cost for 4 of us was reasonable! Would definitely come back to Papillon Bistro and Bar when I visit NYC!More infoPapillon Bistro and BarPrice: Expensive• Bistro• Midtown East•4

The service was impeccable, and all the staff worked in perfect concert to delight their clientele. The Crème Brûlée was outstanding! It was the best I’ve ever had.More infoCafe LuxembourgPrice: Expensive• French American• Upper West Side•4.8
- JJodiWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews4.0Dined on Jan 3, 2025Before posting this, I read a bunch of reviews and I can completely understand both the five star and the one star ratings - there is validity in both. This is not a big fancy hotel high tea. It is pricy for the amount of food/drink you are served. The location is small/intimate. But it was *perfect* for what I was going for. I booked this restaurant for a three generation event (grandma, me, and tween) - it was a delicious and sweet and pink experience! Fancy without being stuffy. Tea was good - although you have to let it steep before it is served and take out the bag before it steeps to long. Food was good, and the amount of food was just right - we all left feeling full, but not stuffed. Service was good. I'm satisfied!More infoThe Parisian Tea Room- NYCPrice: Expensive• French American• Garment District•3.8
