- SsalvatoreNew York City •16 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoIf you find a better value in the city, let alone on the upper West Side, please let me know. I'm always impressed by the quality of both the food and the service. It is not easy to be attentive without being intrusive. The staff at Cafe Luxembourg has apparently mastered that talent. As for the kitchen, they've been scoring 10's for as long as I can remember. I'm very appreciative of being able to enjoy a restaurant like this, where the food and service are both consistently superior and at a price that is most assuredly reasonable.More infoCafe LuxembourgPrice: Expensive• French American• Upper West Side•4.8
- FFrancoiseVIPNew York City •47 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe have dined here several times but this was really an outstanding experience. Everything was delicious, served professionally and the noise level was comfortable. I had the special arugula corn and avocado salad, followed by the duck breast with figs. I loved the large slices instead of the usual many thin slices. It was tender and juicy. The figs were marinated and out of this world. I shared the warm bread pudding with my husband. Delicious. The only negative was the espresso. Watery and tasteless. Our friends loved their meal as well. We enjoyed the whole thing so much we stayed 3 hours!More infoThe Milling RoomPrice: Expensive• French American• Upper West Side•4.4
- IIleneVIPBaltimore / Maryland •21 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoLovely atmosphere and excellent location. Our food was good not superb. For example, the Eggs Benedict came with a razor thin slide of Canadian Bacon. It should have been a thick slice given the nature of the restaurant- a bistro - and the pricing. The dish also came with excellent roasted potatoes.More infoThe ConsulatePrice: Expensive• French American• Upper West Side•4.6

Area •3 reviews4.0Dined on Jan 3, 2025Before posting this, I read a bunch of reviews and I can completely understand both the five star and the one star ratings - there is validity in both. This is not a big fancy hotel high tea. It is pricy for the amount of food/drink you are served. The location is small/intimate. But it was *perfect* for what I was going for. I booked this restaurant for a three generation event (grandma, me, and tween) - it was a delicious and sweet and pink experience! Fancy without being stuffy. Tea was good - although you have to let it steep before it is served and take out the bag before it steeps to long. Food was good, and the amount of food was just right - we all left feeling full, but not stuffed. Service was good. I'm satisfied!More infoThe Parisian Tea Room- NYCPrice: Expensive• French American• Garment District•3.7
- CChrisNew York City •41 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 28, 2024Nice, quiet brunch spot. Mussels and French onion soup were fabulous. The breakfast American was just ok. Bacon was too thick and double-fried. No bread with eggs which I would have liked. Would return, however. Very pretty and bright interior.More infoCafe Du SoleilPrice: Expensive• French• Upper West Side•4.7
