At breakfast I had the best congee I ever had in the United States at San Laurel. The ingredients were spectacular. Home made dried pork hash was made from jamon iberico and their XO sauce was also homemade by the chef. I shall order congee for breakfast every time I stay at Conrad Downtown LA.

Took a friend who had never been before, he was very impressed. Is going to come back for a Sunday brunch. Our server was absolutely amazing. She interacted with us and it made for excellent service. Very attentive yet gave us time to have an appetizer and social beverage before taking our order. Her name is Joanna.🌟🌟🌟🌟

As for the menu, prepare to be swept off your feet by the ocean trout tartare – it's a love letter to seafood that even Poseidon would approve of. The burrata is a creamy delight with delight cucumber that will make you question why you've ever eaten anything else. And then, there's the French toast, a carbohydrate devil that could easily moonlight as dessert. Beautiful restaurant in the heart of Pasadena. Easy parking. Ambiance is beautiful with large tropical fans and dramatic lighting. Bar is a great place to stop for a rest. Happy hour options were excellent and every item was delicious! Loved the oysters and bubbles option.
