- MMelissaPhiladelphia County •12 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOut to dinner for my Birthday. Great service from Candace! The kitchen was nice enough to offer a substitution on an entree… I’m eating low carb and GF, so they offered Brussels sprouts instead of the gnocchi in the short rib dish. I love Brussels sprouts, but over half of the ones in my dish were undercooked and too hard to eat. The short ribs were good though. Candace offered to ask the kitchen for a different side, but I had already finished the rest of the dish. My husband loved the pork chops on polenta, and our daughter loved her burger. The only other detail that was missed was the special cocktail I ordered was advertised as Prosecco with cranberry and mint (which I LOVE), but it came with sage instead and with no explanation for the change. Sage didn’t really work with the drink at all but at least it was balanced on the rim and not actually in the Prosecco. Great ambiance, as always, and mostly perfect food… just missing some of the small stuff that would make the experience top notch.More infoTerrain Cafe - DoylestownPrice: Moderate• Farm-to-table• Doylestown•4.7

Hummus and burrata apps were super good and the pasta dish was delicious. The gingerbread chai latte was a perfect way to end the meal!More infoTerrain Cafe - DevonPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Main Line•4.5

We celebrated my fiancée's birthday, and the staff acknowledged the occasion with a nice card. We had dined at the restaurant when it was Vickers Restaurant, so it was nice to see that much of the restaurant had a close resemblance. The food was fantastic, many great choices. I had the salmon and my fiancée had the meatloaf. Both were great. We started with the buffalo chicken dip, which was a nice beginning to our meal. Our server, Lia was fantastic, she was friendly, cheerful and full of positive energy. She was attentive without being over bearing. We will go back again.More infoWhite Dog Cafe - Chester SpringsPrice: Moderate• American• Exton•4.6
- LLuanaWashington, D.C. Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe Love is an exceptional choice for a quick yet delightful lunch experience in Philadelphia. If you're planning to visit, it's advisable to secure a reservation in advance to guarantee your spot, or consider arriving after 3 pm to avoid the lunch rush. The restaurant boasts an upscale and contemporary ambiance, creating a perfect setting to enjoy a meal. One of the standout features of their menu is the unique twist they put on classic Southern cuisine. Among their offerings, the side potatoes are a highlight—cooked to perfection, they are simply one of the best I've ever tasted. Additionally, the Brussels sprouts paired with sweet potatoes are a must-try; the combination of flavors is both intriguing and satisfying. For the main course, the ravioli is nothing short of exquisite; it's prepared flawlessly, featuring a delightful balance of sweet and salty flavors that leaves a lasting impression. With its innovative dishes and inviting atmosphere, The Love is undoubtedly a fantastic dining destination worth visiting in Philadelphia.More infoThe LovePrice: Expensive• American• Rittenhouse Square•4.8

We love the food, and the picky kids in the family love it, too. The service is great and everyone is personable. This year we had a last minute need for two children and 1 adult who had nowhere to go for a holiday dinner. I sent an email to the email address listed and received a response right away from the event coordinator, Dawn, saying it was “no problem” to add them to my reservation. That made my whole day and was greatly appreciated! Great place, great food, wonderful management!More infoThe Fern & FablePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Malvern•4.7
