- EEllenNew Mexico •15 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoThe food was (as always) excellent. And we truly appreciate the low noise level, which makes it possible to actually have a conversation. Our service was problematic last night, which is unusual for Izanami. The restaurant was not full but our waitress spent the majority of her time chatting animatedly with a couple at one table; maybe she knew them? At any rate, while our first five plates arrived promptly, There was a 20 minute gap between the majority of our food arriving and the arrival of the final dish: the pork belly. We tried valiantly to get our waitress's attention, but to no avail. She was having too much fun chatting with the people in their bathrobes.More infoIzanamiPrice: Expensive• Creative Japanese• Santa Fe•4.8
- EEvaVIPHouston •32 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 2, 2025Our dinner comprised several small plates -- all of which were very filling and delicious! We love Chef Angel's culinary creations. Austin was a gracious host, as always, and our server, Antonio, was attentive but never pushy. Special kudos go to the two bartenders who heeded our drink requests during dinner and then created a special cocktail specifically for us as a coda to the meal.More infoPalace PrimePrice: Expensive• American• Santa Fe•4.7

They do a great French 75. The mushroom veloute appetizer with a lobster croquette was just perfect and the octopus appetizer is a real winner. The specials are always interesting- last night’s barramundi with wild mushrooms and eggplant caviar was phenomenal. The duck is some of the best I’ve ever had. Always terrific whether outside on patio or in dining room.More infoRestaurant MartinPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Santa Fe•4.7
