- DDonnaLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoRick and I ordered the price fix menu We started with the pear, grape Gorgonzola with pine nut salad, the main was duck( cooked perfectly)with thin potatoes. The dessert was pudding like made with yogurt. Honestly, it was one of the most scrumptious meals ever. My husband even commented on how many yums were coming out of my mouth. The service was very good.More infoLULU - Los AngelesPrice: Moderate• Californian• Westwood•4.8

You shouldn't spend extra to get sweet potato fries or whatever else they offer. Our service was excellent. Heat was blasting us but it was turned off immediately after our request. Prices extremely reasonable.More infoGranville - West HollywoodPrice: Moderate• American• West Hollywood•4.7
- IIraPhiladelphia County •3 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoShirley Brasserie was a wonderful dining experience that paired the great atmosphere of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel with great food. The Restaurant occupies a quiet part of the Lobby area and is large enough to find seating but intimate enough to feel separated from other diners. The menu is spartan but focused, as is the wine list. The appetizers we had were first-rate and handsomely presented. I would recommend the chicken liver mousse, as it was special and hadn't seen it elsewhere. I consider myself an expert on duck and generally prefer it roasted, as many restaurants don't really have the expertise to properly sear it. Not true here. The duck was properly spiced and glazed and seared just right. For this style of preparation, I've not had better. The Shirley Brasserie is not inexpensive, but considering the quality of the food and service (which was also outstanding), I would rate it as a good value. Something for a special occasion.More infoShirley BrasseriePrice: Expensive• French American• Hollywood•4.6
- JJohnvipLos Angeles •148 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 14, 2024I've always like/loved Toscana. Tori the hostess was most cordial and nice. Oliver the waiter is excellent. I was pleased he remembered me. The chef was, how to say obnoxious. Iwanted a particular pizza-he refused to make it. Oliver reported that he was in a bad mood. I said, "thepolicy is the custoemr is always wroong"...absolutely stupid. We had a pizza with pepperoni instead. it was only ok. My beef carpaccioo was delicious. A new beer, called "Pax Rp,am wasde;icious. I had two. Myguest had the chopped salad. He loved it. Over-all a great experience. The restaurant was very noisy. Much noisier than usual. Therestaurant was very busy. Interesting for a Thursday lunch. Parkingattendant Jorge, remembered me. Always nice when that happens. It is close to hoome and consistently good. I"ll go back for a dinner soon.More infoToscana - BrentwoodPrice: Expensive• Italian• Brentwood•4.7
