The wine list is varied enough to find something good everyone enjoys easily. I chose Verdicchio Castelli Di Jesi DOC this time, which perfectly matched the Spanish Octopus and Squid ink Pasta. We are happy that the Wilmington, DE, downtown area is recovering and upgrading dining options and that this gem is not that far from home.More infoLa FiaPrice: Moderate• Farm-to-table• Wilmington•4.9

- DDaraVIPPhiladelphia County •148 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoDinner at White Dog Cafe Glen Mills tonight was AWESOME as always!! Charles was our waiter, he was friendly and fun to talk with. It ended up being a father daughter dinner date night! For drinks, I had soda, and Dad had iced tea. For appetizers, Dad ordered a bowl of the Squash Bisque, with pumpkin seeds and chili oil. Mom ordered it to go without the pumpkin seeds. They really enjoyed it!! For the main course, Dad and I ordered the White Dog Double Cheddar Burger. I had mine with just cheddar cheese and the grilled red onions, without the smoked bacon mayo, bibb lettuce, and tomato, served with a side of plain fries. Dad had his with no cheese and no mayo, and with the lettuce tomato, bibb lettuce and grilled red onion, with a side of plain fries. He really enjoyed it, as always! I also ordered my favorite, a side of Roasted Brussels Sprouts, which had Pennsylvania maple dressing and bacon. They were so good, I took the rest home for tomorrow! For dessert, I ordered the Vanilla Bean Creme Burlee, my favorite, which was served with a shortbread cookie. It was yummy, as always!! Mom ordered the Chocolate Cheesecake to go without the spiced red wine cherries. She enjoyed it with the chocolate ganache! Chef Mike, and the general manager Dan, and the assistant manager Jaton, all came by to our table to see how our food was. Thank you for another excellent meal, White Dog Cafe Glen Mills! We love coming here! See you again next time!More infoWhite Dog Cafe Glen MillsPrice: Moderate• American• Glen Mills•4.6
