A dramatic sunset, beautiful environment, happy people. Food was great. Caesar salad with smoked chicken was very good. Calamari Fritti was excellent, with sweet hot chili dip - and about 5 times as big as a normal app. Sure, the $16 Pliny the Elder and general high prices aren't the greatest, but the swarm of servers and great attitudes earn it.

Based in Hillcrest. One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. 5 out of 6 dishes were S Tier. Tinned yellowfin was A tier. Unreal textures in the beef tartare. Zataar was an incredible seasoning choice for the carrots. Cavatappi was a special for the evening, & it was special indeed. Rockfish crudo was fresh asl (just fished for in the morning). And the pound cake was a top 3 dessert for me, ever. Meticulously crafted & everything cooked by the book. Could not recommend this place more. Kudos to Chef Logan!

We had a fantastic meal, including drinks, salad, dinner, dessert, and coffee. I had a pear deux for my starting drink, and it was decorated with a cinnamon stick and thin slice of pear. My husband had a whiskey blended with orange and blueberries. Both drinks were in tumblers and were delicious. I had the duck over risotto with the freshest peas and micro greens. The sauce was divine. My husband had the ribs over mashed potatoes, whereby the meat just fell off the bone. We finished with a pot of chocolate, with real whipped cream and a side of tangy raspberry sauce. The service was so perfect, checking on our progress and filling water with great timing. Thank you! This restaurant created a really enjoyable evening for us.

What a Lovely Restaurant! The Service was Warm & Friendly. Food was Good but Cubing Sausage for Pasta and Pizza is just not right. Taking the Time to Crumble it instead of Cubing it like Spam would be appreciated. We will be back soon as the Food is Fresh, Ambiance is Cozy and People are Cool. Even the Cook’s Singing in the Kitchen was Special! Kevin K.

As an aviation enthusiast, I can confidently say that Mister A’s offers one of the most spectacular dining experiences in San Diego. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the refined ambience and panoramic views of the city. But the real highlight? Watching planes take off and land at San Diego International Airport while enjoying an exceptional meal—an experience that was absolutely priceless. The food was just as incredible as the view. I ordered a steak, and it was nothing short of perfection—expertly cooked, bursting with flavor, and plated beautifully. Every bite showcased the high-quality ingredients and culinary mastery that make Mister A’s stand out. The service was impeccable. The staff was not only knowledgeable and professional but also warm and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of the evening was seamless. From thoughtful recommendations to perfectly timed courses, they truly elevated the experience. For anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience in San Diego, Mister A’s is a must-visit. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying an evening out, the combination of exquisite cuisine, first-class service, and unbeatable views of the city and airport traffic make this a dining experience like no other. I’ll definitely back!
