- AAnneLondon •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoA gem of a place. We had dinner there and the food was amazing! Our server (originally from Latvia) was really friendly and made us feel most welcome. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.More infoChez DominiquePrice: Expensive• French• Bath•4.8
- NNataliaGloucestershire/Wiltshire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoI have been to this restaurant 3 times and for me it is the best place in Cheltenham so far. Every time I try different dishes they are wonderful, my last visit to the restaurant was on January 7th and I was a little disappointed, the location is wonderful, the staff are professionally trained, the interior is laconic, but my dishes did not bring me pleasure this time! The shrimp cocktail salad had wilted greens, they changed it for me but the second option was not better (the lettuce legs had a reddish tint, which indicates that the salad has been stored for 3-5 days already) this is not acceptable in a restaurant of this level. The second course was beef cheeks with mashed potatoes. The degree of roasting of the meat corresponded to the order and the texture was tender, but the bitter taste of the fried crust on top prevented me from enjoying the meat (it seemed to me that the upper part of the meat was overcooked). And so the last visit to the restaurant did not bring me pleasure from the food, but we had fun and we had a good time!More infoThe Nook On FivePrice: Very Expensive• British• Cheltenham•4.4
- RRaiaVIPBuckinghamshire •32 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoSo often a restaurant menu has very little I actually want to eat. Today at Quod I could have chosen many of the things on the menu! I chose one of the specials, a Caesar salad with king prawn and anchovies. Delicious, very grown up. Then yummy cheeses with crackers, chutney, celery and apple. And a bax colada. Great meal. Wonderful South African waitress. Great ambience. Expensive, but the cost of living crisis is reflected in the increase in restaurant prices.More infoQuod Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• European• Oxford•4.5
- PPeteGloucestershire/Wiltshire •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 21, 2024We were dining to celebrate my son’s 21st so we were a table of four; the general arrangement perhaps suits couples better than it does larger groups but the staff were terrific, friendly and helpful. The establishment is quirky, an absolute delight although perhaps not best suited to the infirm as the toilets were a slight trek (but again beautifully quirky). The menu changes frequently and the staff were keen to explain any queries that we had. The general arrangement was that food was brought with the intention of sharing, bigger servings than tapas style but the principle was similar. It’s been a week since we were there and I’m still not sure what course was my favourite:- the food is absolutely top quality and clearly served with love, care and attention. Loved it utterly and will definitely be back.More infoUpstairs at LandracePrice: Very Expensive• European• Bath•4.8
