- JJohnsonHouston •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWhat a beautiful place for valentine day weekend . The place was beautiful with anazing decor . The host welcomed us with a warm gesture and seated us quickly . The restaurant was very busy and everyone looked and was dressed very professional. Our waiter was very helpful with ordering our dishes . We tried the lobster and corn crab soup for appetizers for starters . Delicious. For our entrees we chose the branzino and seafood pasta and we must say we left the plated empty and ordered a takeout of the seafood pasta . Beautiful restaurant and we had our best valentines dinner ever . Highly recommendMore infoThe RoofPrice: Moderate• Global, International• Sugar Land•4.1

The mimosas were very tasty. The service was great, we were sorted promptly upon arrival with our reservation. The server explained the menu thoroughly and helped my party & I make decisions when we were indecisive. Taste offers a wide variety of food selections from soul food to salads. Photos are also taken that are available for purchase at time of checkout. Overall, great time and delicious food. I would recommend!!More infoTaste Kitchen + Bar - DowntownPrice: Moderate• Creole / Cajun / Southern• Downtown•4.7

ATMOSPHERE-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ MUSIC-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ FOOD-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ DRINKS-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ SERVICE-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food - boudain rolls, smoked oxtail, seafood platter. Everything seasoned to perfection. The star of the show just may have been the smoked gouda mac tho. Yummmmyyyy Will definitely be backMore infoRockhouse Southern KitchenPrice: Moderate• Creole / Cajun / Southern• Mid West•4.5
- SShyraHouston •9 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoSince moving to Texas from Louisiana, The Rouxpour has been my favorite restaurant for the past five years. It’s the closest great restaurant that taste like ours in Louisiana. I have visited this location numerous times for different occasions or just to stop by for the bread pudding. The Rouxpour never disappoint and is very consistent with taste and quality. I will definitely be back soon. Thanks for another great experience.More infoThe Rouxpour Restaurant & Bar - Sugar LandPrice: Expensive• Creole / Cajun / Southern• Sugar Land•4.7
- JJaimeLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe roasted beet salad was exquisite, light and yummy. Pork chop was lean and delicious with a great Asian/Creole inspired sauce. Flounder was flaky and delicious. The cornbread had a delicious sweetness and it was a bit crunchy. The Louisiana crawfish etoufee was a true disappointment as it had battered shrimp and little crawfish all in a noodle sauce instead of rice! This is why the 4 stars. The bread pudding did not disappoint. The prices are higher than some of the competition. My husband (etoufee) will not return! I will give it another try for lunch because my dish was superb as was my son’s flounder.More infoEunicePrice: Moderate• Creole / Cajun / Southern• Upper Kirby / Shepherd Corridor•4.7
