Best Contemporary Mexican Restaurants in China Town

I love La Victoria! The food, the ambience, & staff are and were amazing! The owner took the time to check in on us to make sure everything was going well. I don’t understand people that complain about the music, please look up places before going if you don’t like loud music. Personally didn’t bother me at all. I enjoyed the music and everything was totally vibing. Thank you La Victory for always delivering can’t wait to come back and celebrate my birthday here. Also, shout out to our waitress I forgot her name but it look like her hair was curl up and she worked yesterday 1/11/25 had a pony tail she was very amazing and lovely to have as our waitress.

It was really good. The service was great and drinks and food both came out quickly and exactly as we had ordered. It was a perfect quick stop before a show at the Chicago Theatre as we were able to get in grab a couple of drinks with our tacos and get out. The Rosemarys baby cocktail was delightful and we tried several types of tacos. I think we both agreed the Al pastor pollo was our favorite. Overall I was happy with the experience and would come back.

Our second time in and it was just as great as the first time around. Amazing service, very attentive and was knowledgeable on the menu as well. Drinks were priced appropriately and well balanced. This time around we ordered entrees and was surprised by the size. I found my new Happy Hour spot 😊

I went for brunch and was seating right away. This place was awesome and service was wonderful. I ordered the avocado and toast and the portion was small but it was perfect for me. drinks and the ambiance was my favorite part!

Don’t be surprised by the name change to Adelitas! The service, ambience, & food quality are superb. Be adventurous & sample their gourmet variety of tacos. I had the Al pastor & fried fish ones and they were excellent. I will be returning to experience the plethora of vegetarian menu options. This restaurant certainly is a gem in Bridgeport neighborhood. Next time I will go earlier and enjoy strolling through the neighborhood. Cheers.
