Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Orange, New Jersey

I usually never leave reviews but had to for this. This was the most fun experience I had with a cooking activity! The food was amazing, Anthony the instructor was hilarious, the drinks were delicious and overall the experience and ambiance was so much fun. My friend and I had a great time and will absolutely be back for another class.

Beautiful restaurant and already planning to come back here in the summer when there’s outdoor dining! Breathtaking views of both the city and water. Ambiance is so elegant and elevated. This is truly a luxe restaurant. Also, the tiramisu is delicious.

I made reservations a month ahead of our scheduled time to visit New York and had no issues so that. Once I wanted to call and confirm a few days prior to the reservation, no one answered the phone. I also called the day of the reservation and no answer. The ambiance was great! The seating felt tight, but luckily we were in a booth in the corner. We definitely had to shift the table around to get inside the booth. Once in the though, it was comfortable as there was enough table space. The service could have been better. The server sold the menu to us and forgot our cocktails and failed to keep water on rhthe table. He didn’t check on us really after we got our food. The food was good and the portions were definitely enough for 2-3 people easily. For reference, we shared in our party of 3 the calamari as an appetizer with the stuffed salmon, rigatoni, and surf & turf for our entrees. Great food but service was not up to par.

I have dined at Fresco many times for brunch but never dined for dinner. I went with my husband for our 1 year anniversary and had such an incredible dining experience. I can’t remember the last time I have dined out and had every touch point be absolutely incredible!! The staff is exceptional and professional. Timing on point, not rushed perfectly spaced out in between courses. The food truly spectacular!! I can’t wait to go back, Fresco Da Franco never disappoints. Lastly the ambiance is beautiful I loved the little lamps with beautiful deep red lamp shades on each table. Highly recommend for a great dining experience.

My husband and I had a very pleasant experience at Sapori. Our waitress, Mario, gave us a wonderful experience. He was professional and helpful. He welcomed us with a beautiful smile and warm countenance. He checked on us regularly, we appreciate his service. For our Entree my husband and I had the Lamb Chops and ravioli. They were nice and tender, juicy and flavorful. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and we will certainly dine here again.
