Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Cranston

The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! Both our main entrées and desserts!. Our waitperson Marcella was fabulous. We were a party of 4, and we all had something different; we all agreed it was a wonderful dining experience. We will definitely return.

99% of everything was great. We stopped into doorway about 10 min before our reservation and could hear the host saying we better not f-ing come in before 4. Which we only did to double check our reservation time because it was so cold out and the sign on the door said open at 4:30 so I panicked. I was in the restaurant industry for over a decade so I get it, but FYI your door is not sound proof. So maybe just say it to yourself.

Had a great meal here! Smelled delicious the moment we stepped in the door. We shared the Invernale salad (greens and beets! mmm!). We both had the Pork Roast meal and it was awesome! Tender, tasty pork and creamy polenta with Swiss Chard for the greens. Friendly waitstaff and a nice environment overall. Short walk to PPAC for a show after dinner.

Our bartender, JR, was OUTSTANDING. He's made for bigger and better things than tending bar, but he seems to be very happy doing what he's doing, so we hope he's around for a while. He managed a full bar of at least 15 guests, perhaps more than 20, plus the restaurant diners' needs, and did it with a big smile, very friendly manner, and didn't miss a beat in our service. Seemed like at any given time he was doing two or three things at once — chatting with customers, taking orders, clearing, serving, making drinks, washing glasses and shakers, boxing up take-home, etc. But he did it all with a smile and super positive attitude. Bar'Lino really should have two bartenders working a bar that large, but at least the one they have was more than capable of handling it. Outside of the great service, we enjoyed our meals — really like the Bar Bites menu, especially the meatball sliders and pizzette. Paired with a salad, it was the perfect dinner for me.

Visited on a Monday night and it was a terrific evening! The entire staff was great from the wait staff to the servers to the complimentary valet which is a bonus on Federal Hill. We opted for Massimo's Monday Night Wine + Dine set price menu because they included terrific gluten free Italian options - to include GF bread. We shared the Baby Spinach, Caramelized Onion, Gorgonzola, Candied Walnuts, Pancetta, Balsamic Vinaigrette Salad, Calamari Fritti, Shrimp Scampi and Gnocchi margherita - all cooked beautifully. We parted ways on dessert so there was Tiramisu, Cannoli, and we even added a Cheesecake with Cherries. Needless to say, we are not afraid of a great meal! We will be back! Thank you!
