- SStevenVIPLos Angeles •28 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe always love dinner at Kendall’s. The new menu is delightful and has some great new additions plus a few more vegetable options, which was much appreciated by some in our party. I had the duck confit, which was fork tender and had a good flavor. I did think, however, that it was a bit over salted. But not to the point of being displeasing. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and our server was so helpful and charming that she put the star on top of the experience. We will be returning soon.More infoKendall's BrasseriePrice: Expensive• French• Downtown•3.9
- EEuniceLos Angeles •25 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoEverything we ordered was absolutely delicious! We started with the octopus and the caviar. While the octopus was decent, it was slightly overcooked and just okay. In our opinion, the Little Door Caviar was the standout starter—its flavor was far superior. For mains, the Branzino was perfection—crispy and flaky on the outside, tender and soft on the inside. The ribeye was equally fantastic, cooked beautifully and packed with flavor. We finished the meal with the crème brûlée, which was the perfect dessert—smooth, creamy, and with a perfectly caramelized top. The service was impeccable, making the evening truly special. We celebrated my friend’s birthday, and it was a memorable experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back!More infoThe Little DoorPrice: Expensive• Contemporary French• West Hollywood•4.6

- CCalvinSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoFabulous restaurant. Would go there again in a heartbeat. It seems like a hidden gem, and perhaps the owners like it that way. I like it that way. There are so many DTLA restaurants that get attention because of things other than what I think is most important, e.g. the views, the location, etc. L'Appart gets the essential things right: the food is delicious, the service is personal and from the owner(s) themselves, and the ambience is on point. The fact that it is so hidden makes it special. If you go on a date here, you should appreciate the person who chose the place. It shows taste.More infoL’APPARTPrice: Moderate• Contemporary French• Downtown•4.6
