- RRichardVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •78 reviews5.0Dined todayPhillipe and Ellen continue to offer a delightful French bistro with a menu offering variety and style. Richard Alexander has been a fan of Chapeau doing back 20 years when they first opened on Lake west of the Park Presidio before moving to Clement Street and am pleased that their success is mirrored with a full house on Friday night with everyone having a good time enjoying a genuine French menu. My favorite is Phillipe's cassoulet with large beans, duck confit and garlic sausage and a big bold Chateau Neuf. Vive la France on Clement Street. A very special place to enjoy and treasure.More infoChapeauPrice: Expensive• French• Richmond District•4.8

After appetizers we waited around 45 minutes for our entrees. Very surprising since the restaurant was only at ~20% capacity.More infoBombay BrasseriePrice: Very Expensive• French / Indian• Financial District / Embarcadero•3.9

- DdidierVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 3, 2025Clearly one of the best restaurants in the Bay Area. We had the 9-course tasting menu, chef Claude’s signature. Usually for such menus there’s always one or two less interesting. Not here, no miss, everything was exquisite. Very polite and knowledgeable service staff. Quiet. Really a fantastic experience.More infoO' by Claude Le TohicPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French• Downtown / Union Square•4.8
