Best Contemporary French American Restaurants in Inwood

Bread service was burnt toast. Weird. Cocktail menus don’t say when there’s egg whites on them, so we had to send back our cocktail. There’s no bread plates or appetizer plates. But the ambience is really pretty, and dinner was good. I don’t know. Mixed review.

I had a wonderful dinner last night. This time I’ve tried their theater menu. And I am so glad I did! For appetizer, I had my favorite chicken lemon soup and for a main course I had the pan seared Bronzino. It was absolutely delicious. Let’s not forget about my cocktail Hachiko. It was very flavorful. And I absolutely couldn’t resist to try my dessert which was a part of the theater menu. The chocolate lava cake was fantastic. I highly recommend to try it out. The site for the nee Paris Bar has had a number of failed restaurants since the hotel opened. Finally, this is the one that should last. We live around the corner This is our thirrd time since the reopening under Fireman ownership. It has improved each time. The food for lunch was fantastic. The club sandwiches, the croque, the omelette were all as good as they get. Saw the onion soup most others ordered and will try it soon. With 4 fireman restaurants in the area, we are blessed. Along with the new Acadia across the street, we have two of the best new resturants in midtown. Hope they a huge success.

Great service and great food will definitely come back

A unique location with rooftop view of the city. A great spot for a cocktail or other drink and soak in a cityscape, but the food was ok rather than extraordinary, really more bar food than anything like a proper meal despite calling some dishes “entrees”. Service was at times distracted despite a relatively quiet evening.
