I had the Veloute of Jerusalem artichoke with a poach hen's egg and I was in heaven, mellow artichoke taste, not too over powering and the mix with the egg was perfect. The main coarse was the fillet steak and is the best fillet steak I have ever eaten. I guess the only gripe is that on some of the main coarses you will have to order extra sides so the cost increases. I had French beans with my steak and they were lovely but the potatoes were dry and some of the food was not piping hot, it came out to us warm but I would still highly recommend it to everyone. Oh yes, the service from everyone was absolutely first class and there is only a 7.5% service charge whereas other places I have been to charge 12 or 12.5%.More infoChapter OnePrice: Very Expensive• Modern European• Orpington•4.7

Small plates: both the cured cornish mackerel and roasted mushrooms were not full of flavours (umami) and beautifully presented. The coley maincourse was exquisite - strong bold spinach colour against the crispy skin and perfectly cooked fish... really seafood at its best. (Seafood dishes are consistently good here). perfect creme brulee ... o, and lovely chablis and gervey chambertin. am thinking of coming back already. Flowers are beautiful ... just a little gem in the city. Would highly recommend.More infoStem and Stem - Restaurant and FloristPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• St Paul's•4.8

The restaurant was very quiet as we were the only diners for a while. Would visit again.More infoHumble Grape Canary WharfPrice: Moderate• Wine Bar• Canary Wharf•4.4
