Best Contemporary British Restaurants in Caerphilly Mountain

Delicious food, and the place has been done out so beautifully - was a little quiet on our visit which was nice (after a hectic Christmas) but meant the atmosphere was lacking a little. We will definitely be back though, the food was superb.

The afternoon tea is worth the price you pay and has a unique assortment of sandwiches and desserts.

I decided to visit Bills as a Xmas treat for myself and wasn’t disappointed. It was very busy and was expecting to wait for my meal but was surprised at how quickly my food came. I ordered the Boxing Day curry which I had a couple of weeks ago so I knew I was in for a great meal and it was. For afters I had the banoffee pudding which is always a favourite of mine. I’m not really a cocktail person but as it was Xmas I ordered a White Russian which I enjoyed enough to have 2. Service as always was excellent. A very enjoyable couple of hours.

Family of 5 meal out to celebrate a birthday. The food was lovely and the restaurant has a very nice look and feel. Have been there for meals before and never been disappointed. The monkfish in particular was delicious and perfectly cooked: my son who rarely gives praise said his burger was the best he had ever tasted and my husband had the lamb which was outstanding. Just some of the highlights. Whilst it isn’t cheap, you really do get what you pay for
