Best Contemporary British Restaurants in Mill Hill

We were a group of ten friends at the Ivy last night. All the staff were so friendly and very attentive. The cocktails came quickly and were all good and the food the same. We couldn't fault the service or the ambience and we loved the decor throughout, although going to the ladies was a little cold. We are all looking forward to going again, so easily accessible from St John's Wood station on the Jubilee line. Well done Ivy, Manager and Staff, especially our pleasant waiter.

We had a fantastic evening at The Prince Bonaparte. All of the staff were lovely and hospitable, meals were excellent, the beetroot hummus and camembert were incredible. We will be back!

Such a wonderful experience as ever with Mercies. The new Beetroot on the menu was exquisite, genuinely one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten. The smokiness of the smoked potato tarama with the beetroot was simply divine. Alongside that, the sirloin was amazing, the incredible carrot with its fantastic sauce and oh so tasty focaccia...this place is a foodie and cocktail aficionado's heaven. I urge you and anyone you know to book a table immediately and enjoy this Crouch End gem.

The room we were in was pleasant and as there were only 2 tables of people having afternoon tea it was quiet in there, so easy to chat. The service was good - very pleasant people. The food and selection was good - nothing spectacular but all very tasty, and we were given boxes to take away anything we couldn't finish. The only thing that would mark it down for us was they we were not offered a top-up of tea. We would probably have been given it if we had asked, but other venues offer it without you having to ask.
