Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Universal City

This is my all time favorite restaurant in Studio City. Best kept secret. The ambiance is wonderful. The food so so amazing that if I was home, I would have licked my plate. The service is also great. My napkin kept falling off my lap because of my slippery pants. Just like that the waiter was ther 3 times to replace it immediately. Indeed I will be revisiting Firefly often in the new year.

Wonderful experience for my wife’s birthday. Service and food was wonderful and the ambiance/decor was unique compared to many other restaurants. They were also super accommodating to our Westie pup. Would definitely come back

Went with a group which half were fans of the show and half have never heard of it or the restaurant. Everyone enjoyed the cocktails and the food. We tried different cocktails and had appetizers, salads and main courses. We had a great time and enjoyed it all. The atmosphere was definitely unique and the staff was very friendly and excellent service. Peter and Guillermo were there the night we visited and both were so gracious with everyone we saw that wanted a photo with them. It is quite pricey tho so be ready for that. We walked around the restaurant to check out the other rooms and it was fun to see it all, and feel the different vibes from the pink room to the garden room in the back. Well done Lisa V

Great Service. The food came out fast. We had a wonderful experience.

Nick is arguably the BEST server in LA! He is so knowledgeable and honest and fun without being at all intrusive. The front desk staff are also excellent. They rush to open the door for us and greet us with big smiles. We aren't huge regulars, but they make us feel like we are. We're never rushed from our table (but we don't linger endlessly on a busy night). Compliments to the bus team as well for their attentiveness. Overall, one of the best restaurants in LA, and not a big bold presence on this quiet corner on Sunset. You will never be disappointed. (And if you are for something you didn't really love, they totally make up for it with extra goodies and tastes at no charge. Thanks to all the Gwen team!
