Best Contemporary American Restaurants in San Marcos

The food is unique and truly amazing, I had been in a couple of months before and couldn't stop thinking about the Pork Porterhouse! Our server Kaden was fantastic and he added to the fun of the evening. He was so attentive and really heard what we like and had great food and wine suggestions. We were celebrating a special occasion and he made the celebration even more special! Jazzie at the bar made us delicious drinks and was so fun and engaging. We will come back just to sit at the bar and enjoy her company! Natalia was terrific, so welcoming and friendly. We really enjoyed our conversation with her! Our very first visit was a tastebud journey down the road of a perfect dinner experience!!!!! Perfection!!! Our waiter was so awesome and fun!!! Loved it!!!

We enjoyed dinner at Vue. We sat outside on the patio, looking over the golf course. The food was delicious. We especially enjoyed the short rib and the halibut. The fried cauliflower was a nice appetizer. There is a good variety of wines and other spirits. We liked that you could choose between a 6 oz or 9 oz glass. It was a lovely dinner.

Brilliant food and service. Would go more often if a few more vegi / vegan options. Some great wines but perhaps the pours seems a tad skimpy. Overall a truly great place.

This was one of the few places open on Christmas Day and my family and I had a great meal. Thank you all for everything!
