Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Pacific Palisades

The Penthouse offers a very nice breakfast menu. The omelette are big, the burrito is delicious, the fruit was very fresh. The restaurant was very busy, but our server was attentive and provided everything we asked for. The hostess welcomed us warmly and we got a window table just like we requested. The Penthouse provides beautiful views of Santa Monica and, if you are lucky enough to get a window table that provides a view of the ocean, the view is spectacular.

Food was good. The truffle egg with brioche was my absolute favorite. We ordered a basket of rolls and they must have asked us 10 times if we were finished with them. Our table was large enough for our 4 rolls. Someone came to our table to inform us we were ordering too much food… weird. Our sever was excellent. Atmosphere was relaxed and classy. I felt a little rushed for a Michelin but I did like that the food came out in a timely manner.

Love this place. Second time here and did not disappoint. Service was attentive and kind. Food was delicious. Started with fresh warm rolls brought to the table. For breakfast had escargot, lobster scramble, fish and chips, and huevos tomatillo. All were five star. Ambiance is perfect if you like people watching and a view of the Pacific. After brunch, it was a short walk to Santa Monica Pier. Highly recommend Ivy.

Beautiful gem in our neighborhood. They have expanded and the new dining area is lovely. We had brunch on NY's day and it was delicious. Will be back soon!
