- GGregGreater Boston •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoParty of two we each got the 4-course meal option with a seafood focus + a bottle of Cakebread chardonnay + bottle of still water + 20% tip = $442. The food was phenomenal and properly portioned so you can finish all 4 courses and a couple glasses of wine. Skip lunch just to make sure. The Halibut main dish was cooked to perfection. The ambience is perfectly dimly lit, modern rustic, with a low background level of trip hop/ lounge libations. Memorable for sure...More infoEarth at Hidden PondPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Kennebunkport•4.8
- CChristinaVIPNew York City •14 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe dined again at Davids last night. We like sitting at the counter where you're able to watch all the action in the kitchen and see the meals as they get picked up by the servers. Husband loves the open faced lobster ravioli, nice and light creamy sauce. I had the Haddock special with the lemon bure blanc (sp?) sauce w/capers. It was really good. We will return!More infoDavid's RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Portland•4.7
- SSkipVIPGreater Boston •70 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was a celebratory birthday lunch for two. We were promptly seated in our requested preferred location. The window-side views are unparalleled just about anywhere. Both the host and server greeted my wife by name and wished her a happy birthday. Service from Kate was professional and most friendly. Food was quite tasty. If I had to dig for a criticism, my wife's lobster and corn chowder was served at the same time as her lobster role. We did not think we needed to specify chowder first. I think the kitchen should have known better. This is not an everyday dining room, and if you're looking for a value meal, the value is in the extraordinary atmosphere and bold ocean view. This is truly a special occasion venue. We would do it again in a heartbeat.More infoThe Tiller Restaurant at Cliff HousePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Ogunquit•4.7

- JjoSan Diego •23 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe booked the Truffle Dinner “ Experience” and that is was. It was right after Prelude and it was quiet and truly romantic! We’ve never had a bad meal here, but this was on another level. The appetizer was grilled octopus sliced carpaccio style with drizzled balsamic and herbs with a truffle/olive tapenade the kicker was melon! I know. But is was fresh and flavorful. A poached oyster dish was served with a butter herb linguine topped with black truffle that could transport you to New Orleans in an instant. We loved it. The main was a filet, with purple asparagus and of course black truffle, which was a tender and perfectly prepared delight. My husband enjoyed the wine pairing, which was done so thoughtfully for each course it enhanced the flavors of each dish. I enjoyed a custom prepared cocktail served up, in just the right glass. Dessert was delicious chocolate truffles house made. Our compliments to the hosts, manager and definitely the chef, who made our date night truly special. Can you do this once a month? :)More infoOceanPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Kennebunkport•4.8
