Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Northfield

We went to Pier W for our anniversary dinner. It could not have been more perfect. We had a drink in the bar while waiting our waitress was so sweet and friendly. She got our drink order in just in the nick of time to get happy hour prices. We were seated by the windows with a lovely view of the lake and the downtown skyline. Our server was very attentive. The food was amazing. We had the lobster bisque, clam chowder, Maine lobster pasta and the grilled mahi. The were all delicious and I would recommend. They also gave us a brownie desert for our anniversary. This was our first time here but it will not be our last.

We had a larger party due to a birthday and had a great time! Wine and cocktails were good and food was mostly fabulous. My husband didn’t like his burger since it was too rare but we also recommended he tell the server and send it back, The duck with risotto was amazing, tuna very good and all apps and salads were great. We really loved the salads, both the beet and Caesar were flavorful and exceeded expectations!

Christopher took care of us really well. Despite being arguably one of the best steak stops in Cleveland? We went for the seafood tower. Mac n cheese side and a chicken spring roll app. Food was incredible, everyone was attentive and the ambiance was superb. Honourable mention: the bananas foster desert is table made and done so beautifully. 10/10

I've never had a bad meal at Rosewood Grill and this was no exception. Everything was very good to excellent. I think the best were the sushi shots starts - I could have eaten a dozen of them. The least exciting were the desserts - pretty much the same as everyone does: chocolate cake, creme Brulé and cheesecake; how about something a little more unique. Service was excellent, maybe slightly less attentive than usual, but they were very busy.
