Excellent food and superior service. Unique flavor combinations with a good wine menu.

We enjoyed our visit to Lumen. Greatly appreciated Riley and her explanation of various items. She was very attentive to the phases of our dining experience. Lumen was busy with fans downtown for the Lions game but there was no delay or confusion with our beverages or meals.

Great experience overall! The ambiance and food were amazing and our waitress was so incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, she helped make the experience over the top. Thank you!!

The restaurant is excellent, and should definitely be considered for a combination of ambience, location in downtown Detroit, food, and especially service (Rasool was excellent). The calamari was outstanding and one of the best we've ever had. We split the short ribs, and it was plenty, especially with dessert afterwards. A must try.
