- MMargieSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoRestaurant Review: The Girl and The Goat The Girl and The Goat continues to solidify its reputation as one of Chicago’s must-visit dining destinations. With a focus on bold flavors and a playful approach to globally inspired dishes, this restaurant delivers a truly memorable experience. Highlights: •Bread and Pimento: This dish is deceptively simple but executed to perfection. The warm, freshly baked bread pairs beautifully with the creamy, smoky pimento spread. It’s the kind of starter that sets the tone for an indulgent meal, leaving you reaching for seconds (or thirds). •Empanadas: Bursting with flavor, these are a standout. The flaky, golden crust envelops a perfectly seasoned filling that balances savory richness with a touch of spice. Each bite feels like a small, delicious adventure. Drinks to Complement Your Meal: While The Girl and The Goat boasts a full bar menu offering craft cocktails, wines, and beers to suit any palate, the non-alcoholic options are equally impressive. The menu features thoughtfully crafted mocktails, infused with fresh herbs, seasonal fruits, and house-made syrups. Standouts include a refreshing citrus-and-mint blend and a rich hibiscus and ginger cooler, each perfectly balanced to enhance the meal without overpowering the flavors of the food. Dessert Note: •Chocolate and Peanut Butter Dessert: A decadent and satisfying way to end your meal. The harmony of creamy peanut butter and rich chocolate creates a nostalgic yet elevated experience. The textures—silky, crunchy, and smooth—make this dessert unforgettable. The Girl and The Goat’s ability to innovate while staying approachable is what makes it a perennial favorite. From small plates to desserts, and a drink menu that caters to every guest, every dish tells a story worth savoring.More infoGirl & the GoatPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• West Loop•4.8
- TTaraSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoFood was great. Pics with Santa and the Grinch was amazing, kids loved it! But it’s was very expensive. I know you’re paying for the experience. But $300 for 2 adults / 2 kids for my 5yo to eat a few eggs … yikes. We’d do it again, but it would *feel* better if the kid’s prices were cheaper, with a paying adult, or something like that.More infoColonial Room at The Drake Oak BrookPrice: Moderate• American• Oak Brook•4.1
- NnickNew Orleans / Louisiana •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoI took a group to Brasero. We really enjoyed the option to do family style or the normal menu. The group split the porterhouse which was excellent. The noodles and fried rice were a great pairing. Service and the staff were friendly and engaging making for a great night.More infoBraseroPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• West Town•4.8

The starter and appetizer was so delicious and creative I wanted another. The dessert was a perfect finish to the meal. - JJasonWashington, D.C. Area •5 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 12, 2024Nick our server was fabulous. Kitchen was out of a number of dishes and some of the wines were unavailable. Must speak in raised voice to be heard. Filet au poivre was fabulous and the lobster gnocchi was excellent. Pear and kale salad was an amazing starter. Highly recommend a visit.More infoHIDE + SEEKPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• West Loop•4.4
